Observations&Reflections #2

After the holidays I made a resolution for the new school year - I get up at 5 o'clock and go to sleep earlier than I have been in recent years. This great change made me think, how replacing bad habits with good ones affect our lives.
In my opinion, customs have a huge influence on a quality of our living. Therefore, it is really important to improve our lifestyles and try to break bad habits and substitute them with the good ones.
Of course, changing bad customs requires a lot of motivation and patience. It is very hard to achieve it because of the force of habit, however, if you accustom yourself to this move, after some time it will become normal and automatic. It doesn't change only our lives but also ourselves - we become more organised and confident.
By my personal example of the sleeping pattern, I can see that if we change our habits it will have a positive influence on our lifestyle. Additionally, either good and bad habits affect our personality that's why we should try to stick to the good ones.

  1. So is it working for you? I wonder in what way this change has actually influenced your life.
    Habits are personal, like yours here. Customs are traditions cultivated by a society (Christmas tree, white wedding dress, etc)

  2. I also think that small changes can improve our lifestyle greatly even if they are hard to make, after all old habits die hard.
